The research strategy of our Faculty emphasizes the concentration of human- and research resources based on the institutes’ strategic plans and the general strategy of the University of Miskolc. It includes a better harmonization of research areas, research topics and situation analysis, and the intensification of Hungarian and international institutional relations. At the same time we fully respect that doing research is an intellectual individual or group activity where individual inspirations, the freedom of thoughts and rights for spiritual goods are basic values, the respect of which is desirable for all.
Containing both theoretical and applied economic research is one of the strength of our Faculty’s research activity. Research projects are usually related to organizational units. In order to assure effective participation in international projects with big volume it is preferred to cross boarders of organizational units and promote an intra-networking.
